1g turbo to 2g n/t

i just bought a 1g talon tsi and i have a 2g n/t i want to take the turbo system off that and put it on my car but how would i go about doing that. what would i have to buy i would only boost about 6psi.

I'll save you a bit of embarassment. We as 2g/nt owners have a dodge neon engine, the gs-t's have the good ole' mitsubishi engine, and they are NOT inter-changable...... AT ALL. The only thing we can use is the Cat back exhaust. Look at overboost.com for complete turbo kits for 420a engines, or gsgoingfast has a list for a do it yourself turbo kit, for half the price of a kit.

NO! they are 2 completely different engines. Not even the ECU will work, ONLY the gs-t exhaust will work. Also don't ask about a engine swap.... too much money to even think about it. GS-T/GS-X has a mitsu 4g63, GS/RS has the dodge 420a- yeah teh one out of a neon.

I just re-read your post, you have a 1g you want to swap parts for, the 1g exhaust will not work on a 2g, not one thing off your 1g will work.....
You know what I'm sorry, just stick with what chris posted and read up, you need to be better informed. If you want a boosted 2g, sell your tsi and use the cash for a kit, or sell the both and get a 2g that is already turboed

Dude you have a tsi? Why not just build that up if you want boost, it's already setup for it.

actually thats not entirely correct. yes they are different motors and what not, but the universal stuff can still be used. Im talking about the 14b turbo(if its a manual, if its auto its a 13b and i wouldnt use that, pretty small), the smic, and the BOV, which is a pretty good BOV. injectors could be used with a resistor pack also. there i have given you a start. now go search untill your eyes bleed on here and 2gnt.com
