1g Injectors in a 2g DSM

Anyone know if 1g turbo injectors can be used in a 2g turbo DSM? I know there's something to do with resistance. What would need to be done to use 1g injectors in a 2g DSM or is it even possible. My bro in law has been having this bog when boosting. He just got his GST spyder. I've had my Talon for over 2 years now. I had the same problem as he did but mine was fixed after I changed spard wires. I used my wires in his car but it still acted the same. I couldn't figure it out. He told me that a shop told him it might be his injectors. He called me and asked if I had any injectors. I just got some 1g turbo injectors so if it would work, I would give them to him. Free fix. If not, he'll have to buy some 2g turbo injectors off someone.

i dont see why they wouldnt work.the reistance is still the same,like 2-3 ohms.just do some general maintenance on the car and go from there.

They are the exact same injectors. Just a different color. Have done this swap plenty of times.

Cool. So 1g and 2g doesn't have different resistance? Like Hondas. A 91 civic injectors would not work in a 92 Civic. The 91 uses a resistor pack. What color are the 2g injectors? Aren't they green top? I'm familiar with the 1g blue top injectors. I see them all the time.

these arent civics. 1g and 2g injectors are the same.

Yeah I know they aren't Civics but a lot of cars did switch over injectors from generation especially around the early 90s. Right everyone?

Don't the 2g's have a better spray pattern for each injector?
