1G Help! bad idle after wideband install

I just did a install on my 90 tsi and now my idle is nasty. I installed the PLX M-300 to simulate the narrowband O2 and now it wont idle. Cold startup it runs just fine about 1100 rpms but once warm it goes to like 650 rpms. And if i try to adjust idle via the bliss screw no changes in idle rpms. What could it possiably be? Im pretty sure its connected correctly im logging wideband O2's with my palm and there are no CEL's possiable bad O2 sensor i bought it used from a local that had it for a very short time (only 1000 miles then he sold the car) Thx ( btw this is on a fresh engine with only 200 miles, 660's and a maft)

I bet if you log the O2 it's not providing a nice clean O2 sensor signal to the ECU due to offset.

Put the factory O2 sensor back in and see what the car does. The O2 sensor housing is a bad place for a WB O2 anyway.

I agree, I also have PLX and after reading the problems with sensor failure and the issues associated with installing the WB sensor in the O2, not to mention the additional wiring needed to be done, I mounted mine in the DP. No problems whatsoever with it.

thanks for the reply's guys yesterday i tried a friends plx wb sensor and it did the same so atleast i know the sensor is good. I installed the stock O2 back in the housing and it ran perfect so this weekend im gonna weld the bung in the downpipe and install it there.
