does anyone have any pictures of how stock fog lights are supposed to attach to the car? I think I have the correct brackets, just not sure where exactly to hook them up to and with what hardware. Can the brackets be hooked up to the car with the lights still attached to them?

also, whats the best place to get a fog light switch and a relay? havent been able to find them anywhere (mainly the switch).

thanks

Yes they can be hooked up with the light still attached to them, but its a pain. I took my fog lights out, the bracket and everything, and it was a pain take them out with the lights on still. I had too, it was so rusted I wasn't able to take the lights off. If you can, take the lights off.

Hi. I just removed a set of fog lights off of a 91 Talon for my 90 Laser. They were a Bi#@& to get off. I had to take the whole housing off to get them, good thing it was in a junkyard. Anyway the screws that hold the clear plastic cover onto the light body is made of a light steel or aluminum. They rust to the nuts in the back, and you can very easily strip the Phillips head part if you tork to hard on them. They are about 1 1/2 to 2 inches long with the upper part of the shaft unthreaded and the lower half threaded. It’s a thin screw. The light housings are steel and bolt directly into the frame with 3 #4 bolts about 1" long, (12mm wrench will fit). If you don’t already have these additional items to make the system work properly, I would recommend getting the parts from a junkyard as I did. You will need the fog light switch and a fuse located in the engine compartment inside the fuse box. Also inside the car get the fog light lamp switch to turn them on. Presto, install the items before mounting the lights, and do a continuity test (with a light that turns on when its grounded and you touch a live wire with the probe end). If everything works the way it should, install the light and have fun. Hope this helped you out. :thumb:

thanks a lot, this is exactly what I needed. These lights are going on one way or another. I'll crazyglue them on if I have to. :)

Sounds good. Just don't get your fingers stuck together if you use that method of crazy glue. :D It is a pain to install them, was a good learning experience of what not to underestimate, as simple as that sounds. Have Fun. :laser:
