2G 1g cas in a 2g different wires

My 1g Cam angle sensor I purchased only has 3 leads instead of 4 coming out of it. Green blk trc, green white trc, green red trc I'm trying to install it on a 95 g6k head. How should I wire this up¿

Are you using the 1g cas for the crank and cam signal or just for the cam?

thats what im trying to accomplish, but the RRE shows it with 4 wires on their write up, I can order the correct pigtail , but why does this have three green wires instead of 4 different colored ones. its supposed to be a blacktop 94 Cas, I have a 95 G6k head

supply both the crank signal and cam signal to the ecu

My guess would be that the pigtail was re-pinned at some point. You could just add the fourth wire that you need, or snag one from the junkyard.

do you know what kind of other cars would have that pigtail, really dont feel like spending 40$ on a new pigtail , there is a 1g in a 2g swap harnesses for like 80$ but i was hoping to just solder it together and call it a day. wouldnt even know where to get a pin.. i wonder if i can take apart a random pigtail i have laying around and make up a new pin for it, and just go buy RREs diagram they made.

For cars, I always just look at any mitz (diamante, galant, plymouth colts late 80's early 90's) around the same era, Hyundai's around the same era, I never remember specifics so I just browse. I feel ya on the 40$ pigtail, thats a bit steep. I thought I had one laying around (old harness) but I guess I already used it on my 1g I sold. If you can find a pin thats the same size it should work.

Oops I meant by not buy, dang phone . But yeah I'ma take apart a few connectors I got laying around. If not go on lunch break Monday to a junkyard
