1g bov sound clip?

Does anyone have a sound clip of what their 1g BOV sounds like on their 2g recirculated? I wanted to change mine just for the sound and was curious if it was worth it.

Also... by crushing it you are able to hold more boost... does it also make it louder?

first of all, if u are going for the sound, i dont think the 1g bov is the way to go. i own one and the sound isnt kewl or loud like the aftermarket ones. also, if u crush the 1g bov, it will hold more solid boost.

if u want a kewl sounding bov that also has a nice quality, go for a type-s, or a hks super sequential bov.

if u dont care about anything else, but the sound, then there is the RFL bov......:laugh:

the 1g bov sounds pretty kewl. It is loud if you vent it and it catches a lot of peoples attentions.

I installed my greddy type S and i was amazed, it sounds so much better and its a lot louder. It sounds more like a whiplash.

Oh by the way, i know this isnt the classified but if you want a 1g bov, i got one up for sale

It's not the best clip, but it works. 3" exhaust, 14b, 1g BOV.

Just make sure you are buying for performance.

Get a metal intake like the Injen. You'll hear all the hissing and whooshing the designers tried hard to supress.

ya a metal intake pipe is definately nice. The turbo spool becomes really loud

The 1g BOV sounds good. It might be a little faint compared to the Type S but it still sounds good. If your going to get a 1g BOV, do youself a favor and don't crush it. Go to dejontools and get yourself a leak preventer so that it holds more boost. My friend has one of these kits and it made his 1g BOV sound mean as hell. I almost like it more than my Type S.
