Could I get a list of parts and their numbers? I've seen such varying lists that I don't know whats official, and so few part numbers. I've saved up a good bit of money, and want to go ahead and get these parts now before the money burns a hole into my pocket and drops out onto some other investment. So far, the things I have done that I -know- are on the list are the spark plugs and plug wires. I'm also going to be replacing the fuel filter soon

timing belt, tensioner, b.s. belt & tensioner (if you still have b. shafts) acc belts, fuel filter, oil/tranny/tcase/rearend fluids, coolant, thermostat. airfilter
thats just what i would change if it were me.

What is the b shaft, and how do I see if I still have it/what is the advantage of removing it? Also, since mine is FWD, I am assuming that I do not have to worry about rear fluids/differential fluids, correct?

balance shaft belt. and yes you being fwd would null and void the tcase/rearend fluids. read up on the b. shaft and the pro's and cons of removing it

While changing the timing belt is the perfect time to change your camshaft seals, front crank seal, and front case seals.

Ok, so far the list is:
Spark Plugs
Spark Plug Wires
Timing Belt -
Timing Belt Tensioner -
Balance Shaft Belt *
Balance Shaft Belt Tensioner *
Accessory Belts -
Fuel Filter -
Oil
Oil Filter
Transmission Fluid
Differential Fluid
Rear End Fluids
Engine Coolant
Thermostat -
Air Filter
Water Pump -
Brake Fluid
Idler & Tensioner Pulleys -
Inspect Tensioner Arm Grease/Replace if needed **
Camshaft Seals ***
Front Crank Seal
Front Case Seals
Inspect Injectors/Replace if needed

* I read up, i'm going to remove the b-shaft, I am just putting these here for somebody else's use if they search for this thread

** Explained: Please see Talesin's post below.

*** On these, I am a bit confused. What exactly do I need to purchase to replace the seals? I looked over an online parts catalog, and the only thing I saw was Camshaft, no seals

- I added these parts from here and came up with a price of 269.75. This is pulling parts from a 92 Eclipse. Would there be any issue with this, as my car is a 92 Eagle Talon (Manufactured Oct 91). If somebody would be willing to look over this list and say its good or I need to change/remove/add something, I would appreciate it very much

Might want to consider changing the oil pump as well, while you have everything apart already.

Good find on that site by the way, only one I've seen so far that's been able to list a '90 GSX front bumper cover, with a price. :) Even if it is more than a little steep. :b

It's saying to inspect the tensioner arm, and grease it if it's okay, or replace it if it's not. Safer to just replace it, so you won't have to pull everything off and replace it if it starts failing shortly after getting all those new parts on. And definitely replace the idler and tensioner pulleys. They're cheap, and again it's easy to replace them while you're doing the timing belt anyway.

I say this to everyone who's replacing/removing their timing belt, make SURE to check the cam gear timing marks with a straightedge through the cam gear bolts when you put the new one on. They can look 'on' just spitballing, but if you check them they can be a tooth or three off. What happened when I took my car to a non-DSM specialist, and got it back with low vacuum and crappy running. Made him check it, and they were off, sure enough.
Also, take note of how the idler pulley is on. Some people put it on backward by accident, with the 'lip' toward the outside. Supposed to be toward the engine. Otherwise the t-belt creeps in and starts rubbing against the side of the engine/VC.

I'm sorta back and forth on the oil pump. I've heard different things: You should change it when you do the 120k/You shouldn't change it if its working fine. I myself have not had any issues at all. My oil is alittle thick, so the pressure starts off high when I start the car, but after everything warms up its RIGHT on the mark on the oil pressure gauge (Which, I know the stock on is crap, and I will be getting some replacement gauges soon)

Also, thank you for the tip on the cam gear timing marks, I will be sure to do that.

Can somebody give me a part number for 1G Camshaft Seals? I did a search and came up with this number (MD372536), but that was on a 2g thread, and when I did a search for that part number, I didn't see any that looked to be for the right engine

Might want to clean up the injectors too...

In my case, when I did my first tune up to my car... I did most of the things mentioned above plus checking the injectors... at the end I had to replaced two of them that were pretty damaged... probably because the previous owner didn't care about fuel filter, gasoline quality, or who the heck knows!

botom line is two of them were running pretty bad, so I replaced them...

Thanks, I added it to the list

Agreed, a fresh/cleaned/balanaced set of 450s isn't too expensive, something like $90 from RRE.
Your call on the oil pump honestly, but they DO fail, and you'll be taking everything off again to replace it if it chooses sooner than later. :)

I will replace the oil pump as well, but can you get me the part number. I did a search for oil pump and it just came up with:

Timing gear set, eclipse, w/turbo, oil pump drive sprocket - 2.0l - 2.0L 90-94
Engine - Camshaft & timing - Camshaft & timing - Timing gear set

Also, where would you recommend buying injectors? I looked on the same site and I just found injector for $182.02, though I don't know if thats a complete set or just 1 (as it is stated by singular)
