Im putting a list of parts together and so far i know i need these things besides the obvious block/crank/rods/pistons

Oil pan
Timing cover
Oil pump
Oil filter housing
Resize headstuds to fit 7bolt head
And a flex plate for my auto trans... do i just need a 6bolt flex plate or do i need this http://kigglyracing.com/all/6-bolt-in-a-2g-kit-with-sfi-flexplate.html which mates it to a 2g trans? I assume since im still 1g its just the flex plate but dont want to mess anything up.

Why are you swapping to a 6 bolt?
time for a rebuild before this one is too work out. Already at 160k miles and compression is just above service limits. Might as well build something instead of pulling this out and rebuilding. Id rather swap in something over a weekend than do a rebuild over a week or 2.

can anyone answer if I need the full kit or just the flex plate? im not a "2g" so not sure I need more than the flex plate but dont want to find out the hard way.

I emailed Kiggly and no reply yet
