1990 power window and lock issue

Hi, so I have a 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST. I bought this car about a year ago and it has had messed up wiring ever since I got it. The first problem I ran into was that the windows wouldn't roll down unless the fan was on and the tach always acted funny. About a month ago, my buddy and I removed a glow shift boost and oil gauges and after instalation of the prolite air/fuel gauge and boost gauge, none of my electric works. No windows, no fan, no heat, but my cruise control, wipers, turn signals, headlights, and stero all work.


So my question is, does anybody have the wiring diagram or pin-out for a 1g for power windows and locks? I own and have read the Haynes manual and it has been no help. I need more of a color code for the wiring. Does anybody have this, or know where I can get it?

Circuit diagrams are from the 90-91 Laser/Talon factory service manual. Not color coded or anything, and might even be exactly what you see in the Haynes manual. About all the info I have on the subject though. Someone with their doors apart could probably take pictures or describe the wires for you.

I say put manual locks and windows. A lot less problems and it saves weight!!

I am having a similar problem with my 92 GS, the windows worked fine when i got it, but now they do nothing. i have replaced both window motors and tested the old and the new and they worked fine when hooked up to a battery. i havent bought a new switch but have used multiple ones from a junk yard, (whats the chances that all 6 of them were bad). For the time being I have installed a manual drivers window, but I would like my power ones back.
