1990 gst clutch pedal

hey guys.. so my clutch pedal was reallllyyy stiff like it was jammed. i tried pumping it and then it loosened.. tried pressing it all the way down and it made a popping sort of noise and when straight to the floor and is now stuck there.. any thoughts?

Not sure if this is what you problem is, but when my 92 did that my seal blew out on my clutch slave cylinder. Had clutch fluid aka DOT 3 brake fluid leaking into my interior.

It sucked.

i dont see anything leaking.. brake fluid and clutch fluid still full... im thinking its either the master or slave cylinder.. looked them up.. they are fairly cheap will probably just replace both.. labor though is what im worried about

Look at the firewall on the inside of your car, right where your clutch pedal is located you will see the rod for the clutch master cylinder, check to make sure that it isnt leaking out of the rubber boot. It also could be your brake pedal assembly too having worn out bushings.

will check that right now.. how can i check to see if its the brake pedal assembly?
