on a 2g dsm, what is the maximum performance gains youll see with a 16g turbo?

what 16gf are you talking about? small big evo? Ported clipped different waste gate(for power delivery)? Well 300 350 400 are what they say the turbos can put out, Id say any where from 270-350 depending on what turbo and your setup.

The power you get out of the turbo all depends on the mods you have to support the additional air flow. You can see about 360-380 to the wheels with about $2000+ in upgrades to support the 24-25 psi. It takes alot more than just the turbo to make power.
If you are looking for 400+ with 11.50s seecond times at the track then go straight to a 50 trim. The PTE 50 trim is more efficent at moving more air than the tiny 16gs when you get past the 19 psi mark.
It just comes down to how deep your pockets are as far as the level of boost you can run efficently.
