my mbc seems to be hooked up correct, the hose opposite the bleeder hole is going to my wastegate and the other hose is going to the compressor housing on my stock turbo. i've noticed that if i barely go on the throttle at something like 25% my boost gauge will jump and stay steady at 15 psi. and if i do go wot, it will bounce up and down from 15-10ish and i can feel the car "jumping"? i've tried adjusting my mbc, the screws almost all the way out but it just doesn't seem to control anything...

i tested it at 20 psi with no sound of leaking anywhere, it's as if the mbc is just not doing anything or something.

Can you pressurize it to 20 psi, walk away, grab a beer, and come back a couple minutes later and it still have pressure in it?

hmm i'll give that a try in the morning. i guess i should of mentioned that i also just put on a knock off type rs bov. i've got the screw as soft as it'll go but it still flutters at anything <7psi, maybe just as soft as it gets? it's recirculated though, oh and when i do happen to go wot and the boost bounces back and forth when i stop and pop the hood theres always some small hose that popped off. normally the fpr hose on the intake, but has also been the mbc hose on the turbo housing. could these small hoses be the prob, i didn't really pay attention to them all during the boost test.

Are you teeing off anything on the BOV's vac line or is it dedicated like it should be? Did anything change when you swapped BOVs for this one? And make sure you get all that lines securely fastened.

Try turring your MBC all the way tight to goto factory boost lvl. An see if you still have the problem. If you dont then the mbc or the bov is bad. I'm also woundering if the wastegate could do this same thing?

alright i switched my hoses on my mbc and nothing changed at all... after it cools down im just hooking my bcs back up. first i go from not enough boost and now im having too much. i noticed that i run 16 psi boost by 2900 rpms. oh and as for my bov fluttering, i don't have anything tee'd into my vac line, but im just using a silicone hose for it, and where it hooks into the intake it gets really soft when the engine heats up. could it be that it's flapping and causing the bov to not open up fully?

hoses are fine, it turns out that the screw on the mbc was on more than i thought, i turned it so far it came out this time and put it on 2-3 threads and it holds steady at 13 psi at wot. woot finally mid range boost. however now im seeing tranny issues again LOL. i tried doing some launches and every time i'd start out great and right around 4500 rpm i start free reving... only happens in 1st gear, it's as if a clutch pops out. after a second or two it pops back in and away i go. fluid smells fine and no metal in it, i've checked the link cable and it seems fine. which clutch corresponds with first gear?

Pretty sure this is an automatic, and I've heard some bad things about bg synchro II, I've also heard good things though...Honestly as far as I'm concerned the correct original fluid is really the way to go, stuff like synchro II might make your tranny shift a little nicer but it will fail to provide complete protection during harsh and hot driving.
