Would like to know what people have got on their 13b awd with various mods.
I don't plan on running the 13 b for very long but mostly am just curious. Especially what it can do on race gas.

91 AWD 13b auto with ported turbo and 2g manifold, 450s, and 16 psi made for a 14.2 @ 89 at the track... not bad for my Daily Driver:D

Ok so in my stripped down race car with at least 200 or 300 less weight should be in the 13s anyway. I wounder what you can push the 13b to on race gas. 20psi or a bit more?
Is it that much smaller than a 14b?
I will only likely run it one season for fun. Will I tweak and lighten and mabye add cams and sheet metal intake just to see how far the stock turbo could go..mabye even spray it some.
But think will likely skip right over the evo big 16 and mabye even 50 trim size and go right for another FP3065 like in my 97 or 3565 or something. That way sure can get the big numbers if I want to in the race car. I will have spare FP 02 housing and already have spare gt exhaust manifold since just got new FP one for my 97 with FP3065.
Already have supra tt pump for my 91 project. Need some 950s or 1000s and afpr and stuff.Already have maf and maft but would like dsmlink, love it on my 97.
And need a good stall and shift kit. Thinking Precision industries stall have PI in my 96z28 great converter. Shift kit not sure here IPT is not very good for service or call returns lately but that guy was trying to get restalled converter. I will buy a PI for just slightly more money and no core charge either. Brand new converter. Shift kits are cheap.
Don't need exhaust on race car run either big downpipe or right off o2 housing.
It would be interesting to maybe set a 13 b record before going on to a big snail.

You have a serious 2g there guy!! Very nice. Mine is not too bad we share some parts in common.Jm fab and I have crower stage 3..280/280s.

I plan on jm fab in the 91 and same cams I think maybe brian crower his are a bit cheaper and think a bit more aggressive.

That time on your 2g was that pure pump..what psi..any idea on dsmlink settings for timing..alch or meth or just 100% pump.

And do you remember 60ft on that auto run?

Ok read it more closely 30 psi on the 60-1 on pump gas? How the heck did you get 30psi on pump gas? You would have to be super piggy rich and take the timing way way way down to maybe 6 or something? No alc or meth..pump 91 or 92???? Wow how about sharing some secrets.

LOL no secrets. 94 octain with my air fuel set at about 11.2 to 1. i acually ran an extra 6 degrees timning up top. curve never went below 20 and i saw maybe 1 degree of knock a few blips..LOL. the secret is all in a good sound built motor.

the 60 ft on that auto pass was a 1.88. break boosting the stock stall converter to 3700 rpm

yeah it looks like you have a nicly built 2g as well

good luck witht he 13b record, my goal is to get it to a mid 13 to high 12 car and call it quites

Thanks for the heads up. I was thinking going e85 but we dont really have any stations yet up here in Canada. You guys have quite a few in the states. Maybe down the road run that. For now guess just install my snow alc system and hope to get my timing up and afr leaner and maybe a few more pounds to say 25 on the street. That would be plenty.
My auto will just run race gas won't be using much its pure track car. I will maybe push that 13b for fun a season sort of a challenge and take as much weight as possible out of the car to really try to get times down. Don't care if blow up the 13b no big deal there.

Well I plan on stripping it down in stages.. Stage 1 the cheap easy stuff. Already took out everything from front doors back. Only using one seat and will buy light raceseat later. Will go to light battery. Taking out sway bars, air conditioning.abs, pollution stuff, wipers and reservoirs.Leaving heater for now. Might get cold in stages lines sometimes.
Also if car is running out the heater can help cool it. Taking out front and back bumper supports get lighter wheels. Later on get light hood, light hatch and light hatch replacement lexan type of stuff from flexilite. New product comes ready to install.
So not sure how light can get one of these down to. I can't take car to scale as it can't be driven on public roads at all. I have to trailer it there. And might as well just wait to weigh it a track. What is possilbe to get it down to? Catback is coming off was going to run downpipe or can I run right off the 02 housing? Power steering might go also and stock fans just use one light fan. lighter intake manifold in plans as well.
