MD113721 is the fuel pressure solenoid.

MR312748 is the assembly of the EGR solenoid, evaporative emissions purge solenoid and mounting bracket for 1997 models. This means that one of those three was different in other model years. 1995 and 1996 received MB924421 for this whole assembly. 1998 and 1999 - due to that solenoid move mentioned below - received MR312542.

MB957046 is the EGR solenoid for 1995 models and MR187000 for ‘96+ models.

MR312625 is the evaporative emissions purge solenoid for up through 1997 models. It was MR323897 for 1998-1999 models and relocated as well.

You dont really need it. Most people just bypass it

So, MD113721 is just the fuel pressure solenoid for all 2gs?

All turbo 2Gs, yes, that is correct.

Where were you able to get one and how much did you pay? Looks like they got some from eBay but who knows how good those are?

I had problems with sellers in japan. They would advertise a price shipped, then they would message you and say you need to pay an extra $80 for customs fees

Finally found a dealership in the usa post one after searching for two years

Hello sorry this post is a bit confusing for me. I have a stock 1997 Eclipse GST Spyder. I currently have code p1105 which indicates faulty fuel solenoid.

Can someone confirm which part number I need? I tried putting the MD113721 part on eBay but it shows as does not fit. I’d like to get rid of the code as I’m in California and need to do smogs.

eBay is not what I would consider a reliable source for parts cross-compatibility.

It just didn’t make sense why on eBay it says it doesn’t fit my 97 GST. I guess I’m just overthinking it and eBay is wrong with their fit compatibility, Thanks for clearing that up.

Usually it’s the eBay app just verifying something in the sellers description. eBay doesn’t have a parts lookup system it’s just verifying the sellers listing. If he doesn’t have it listed in eBay motors as an eclipse part it’s just a generic listing without fitment

But yeah md113721. I had to buy another one recently for my project car and some one had a used one listed from an evo3 for half the cost of a new one.
