Tough to tell from the pictures. All I can clearly see is the clear coat coming away. Do you have rust or issues at the wheel wells, strut towers, or normal wear areas? How's the front bumper? Road rash and rock dings in the hood? Etc.?

If all that's wrong is the peeling clear then it really depends on how much $ you have and want to invest. You could just sand the fade spots and reshoot clear over those areas, but it won't come out cherry; pretty obvious unless you are pretty experienced. You could sand the entire car down to the base and reshoot the whole car in clear. If the base isn't damaged it'll bring back the original color (or close anyway). Or you could do a full paint job. You could also do something like plastidip.

If the base is damaged you could follow the same steps. If the color is original, it'll be hard to match the color perfectly. Even using the paint code it might be a challenge depending on how faded the original paint is.

Paint the whole car. I was in the same boat. The car is too old and paint match will be almost impossible. It will be cheaper if you do the same paint code.
You did get this car and not the lancer right?
