i found some nice rims but there staggered and i was wondering has anyone put 18's on a 1g or got staggered wheels.Im not sure but if u have staggered wheels on a awd will that make it understeer or effect ride .If anyone has 18's lowered or not on there's post plz just trying to get some different rims i found that really look nice and they just happened to be 18's for now.

I had a set of 17" rims with 215/51/ZR17 tires and my car was lowered 1" and both of my front tires were rubbing, so i went back to my 16" OZ racing rims with 205/55/R16 tires. I was rubbing with 17's on a slightly lowered 1g. I won't go up to 18's.

Ummm...no. Dude, you can run 18's easily. I'm runnin 245/40/18 like piss all on a dsm. I previously ran 225/45/17. I know EVERYTHING about tire/wheel combos bro, just let me know what you found and I'll let you know if it will fit. Offset plays a major role in your decision, but like I said, let me know what you find, and I will post the formula on how to calculate tire diameter, and you'll be well on your way. By "staggered" , do you mean offset? My car is not lowered, but I can still tell you EXACTLY what you can fit, lowered or not. Please post what you found, and I will watch this thread and help you out man.

My car is lowered 2 inches and i was at one time running 215/45/17's for about a year. And NEVER once did i rub anywhere. So i'm sure 18's with a lower profile will have no problem either

I think you had some other problem, I was running 225 50 r17s on my 92 gst lowered 3 inches and never rubbed.

Ya, I still don't know what he means by staggered rims. Must be referring to the offset. Impuresoul2k3...would you please elaborate, just wondering why You feel so strongly about something you obviously know little about. Here's a pic of Cokic's car on 245/40-18's.

what I mean by staggered is 18x.8.5 (38mm offset going to see if they have 2 more available) 18x9.5(35mm offset) i might have to roll the fenders some but these wheels or hot if its that much trouble I found some nice 17 anyways.i would have equal size around its just that deep lips look hot.

running staggerd sizes on an AWD is a bad idea because you end up with (potentially) different rolling speeds due to total diameter, not to mention the fact that your wider wheels will have much greater traction. Unless you don't like your drivetrain, i'd stay with same size wheels.

I run 17x8 w/ 235/45-17 on my talon, and 18x7 w/ 225/40-18 on my galant, here are some pics:

im confused...

do you want to run either four 18x8.5 with 38mm offset OR four 18x9.5 with 35mm offset wheels...

or do you want to run two wheels 18x8.5 38mm and two wheels 18x9.5 35mm?

which one...

theres nothing to be confused about, i said im running equal all tires will be the same width and height. 18*8.5 or Ill just go with some other 17s i found.

"what I mean by staggered is 18x.8.5 (38mm offset going to see if they have 2 more available)" this meaning four tires all together 18x8.5."

I know 😝
Do you know what rims I can install here?

I do not know the current parameters of my current ones and they are so old and damaged that it is impossible to read the manufacturer's subtitles. The tyres I have are 205/50/r16.

I want to change them to 205/45/r17

For this, I want to buy some 17"x7 rims, the spacing is probably 5x114.3 but I do not know the size of the centering hole and ET (offset).

Will wheels with a centering hole size of 67.1 and larger, and dimensions of ET 30 to 45, fit?
