- i bought it 5 years ago i just put new axles, lifetime warranty, i installed a new clutch slave cylinder, just bought new clutch kit = clutch pressure plate and throwout bearing and axle seals, have not installed it yet. it has a scraping sound coming from the drive train, it only makes the sound during acceleration and deceleration it is quiet when coasting and when the clutch is depressed, steadily getting worse i want to have enough cash on hand so i can pull the transmission down and find what the problem is, the throwout bearing has just started making noise so i am about 98% sure it is not the cause, it sounds like something against the housing. kind of why i have joined your Group besides the fact i really like the car and want to restore it.
