Background
The guy that built this car passed away and after that it was all down hill. The first young guy ended up giving the car rod knock. The second guy thought he could just slap a bearing in and it was ready. He told us it had low compression after he slapped it all together, there was no way it was going to last even if it had compression. The bearing had only turn over time and it looked like it was skipped across the concrete. Another car in the wrong hands almost ready for the junk yard, story of all these cars. The car has some really nasty rust from sitting in grass yet again. The rest of the car looks great. It's currently in my garage with the engine already pulled. There are alot of really cool parts that I've never even heard of on this thing like the giant Kong intake manifold. Whoever worked on this did an absolutely killer job. I am very impressed to say the least. Everything was wire tucked and the megasquirt was wired in behind the radio. It all looks super clean and tidy. The car is on e85 and I was told made 600 horsepower. I'm not real sure how true that is. My plans for the car are to get the engine together and back in. I'll take everything one step at a time. Certain areas of rust will be fixed but I'd like to at least drive the car a little before it's down again.

This car is pretty much the exact same car my brother and I owned in highschool. The only difference is this one has a manual and ours had the auto. I've decided to turn this into the little nostalgia build since it's dang near identical to what we had. I'm going to put a little of what I had into this one. I had a 96 eclipse rs back in the day and I had some big plans for that car. Everything I've wanted to do back then, im going to do now. I don't mind the 420a since I've had a handful of them. I'm not into making huge power so they will do just fine. The final end goal for power on this thing is going to be a nice tune on 91. I'd also love to add power steering back possibly and heater hoses. I like how decluttered the engine bay is but having those 2 items on my list would be awesome.
