- Great story, owned a 91 tsi at the time, saw it on side of road in missoula,MT for sale. Was owned by a doctor's office that used it to make deliveries. The definition of mint condition. Bought it for 2100 dollars (late 2000)100k miles. Used it as a DD till timing belt broke 9 months later and parked it n storage until 2015. Bought a built dsm and transferred the drivetrain. Was running a 68hta. Sold it and am now saving for a big power setup for 50mph-150mph racing. All I need is fuel and turbo system.
