- I had some engine issues and after a lot of frustration and time: I narrowed it down to an ignition problem eventually finding that I had a bad secondary on coil for cylinders 1 and 4. Replaced with used coil. Engine ran great for a day or so. Then engine started running poorly. Ugly metallic sound when I revved engine. Tested for compression and found super low compression in cylinder 4. Removed valve cover and discovered that the exhaust cam is broken(!) (Turns only on 2 and 1). I might try to tackle replacing exhaust cam and lifters but I'm not sure whether it's worth it since I might have bent/broken valves.
