simple question... does an evo III exhaust manifold fit on a stock 1g 14b unported with the stock gaskets or do you have to port it and get bigger gaskets to make it fit??? and also is it worth the money to get this manifold over just a 2g manifold?? :talon: thanks guys

Yes, just order a nice, thicker, better 7cm gasket, and get out your dremel and gasket match the ex. manifold along w/ the turbine housign and port it out nice and clean.

youll probably have to grind down the edges of the manifold (side closest to the timing belt) and forget about using a dremel to port the manifold, youll be doing that for days when a good electric or air die grinder with some carbide bits will do it in an hour

Yes it will bolt up to your unported 14b. You could use your 6cm gasket but it would defeat the purpose of the EVO Mani since the collector on it is 7cm. You would want to use a 7cm gasket and port match the turbine housing of the 14b to the gasket. Either way will work, one is better than the other.
