If you're talking about compressor housings, I don't see why there would be any that weren't OE. The 14b was stock on 90-94 DSMs, there were a lot of them, and factory replacements were abundant at the time.I'm curious what the first...
Gotsta check the ACT flywheel for step height so I grabbed it back from the machine shop. Whilst I was there I figured, they're already balancing shit, why not have them also file my rings down as well? They'll be a lot faster at it, they do it...
Do you have a log of its last moments? You've said nothing about what you've troubleshooted on your own.Have you checked mechanical timing? If it's good, does it turn over? Does it attempt to start but can't stay running? Do you have...
PartsGeek still has the GPD units.

@curt-s , I tore that old one apart a few years ago and did a writeup on what I found HERE.
The 2G sensor cannot be used with the 1G knock board on a DSM factory ECU. On an AEM 'puter, I'm sure they have the ability to use either with settings tweaks, but it's not PnP for us with ecmlink.
I was testing Karropak with a drop of some lightweight shockproof to see how much it soaked and it was a bit surprising how far it actually managed to soak in. That's why I was asking if there were other alternatives or innovations in this space.
It looks like MD752981, the gasket for the transfer case inspection cover, is gone for good. No USA stock, no Amayama. What are people doing nowadays for this -- gasket paper with a good sealant? Karropak should probably work, just curious if...
Nothing physical to it, all thought. I'll remove the valve springs tomorrow..Although I'm nowhere near needing fluids yet (waiting in queue for rotating assembly balancing), trying to think ahead to driveline fluids.68hta v3, stock trans...
Narrowband simulation works off the same voltage you're using for your wideband signal, which should be 5v white wire on that AEM.
You need to make sure you have a functioning wideband sensor set up in link and if that's off, so will your...
Oh man, you should see my head's journals LOL
they're smooth but they've been nicked and banged over the years of its life. On the edge and as long as it's not poking upwards, you're fine. Absolutely agree with Marty. The 1000 grit is just to...
It will be OK. If it makes you feel better, take some 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper and just work the little nick out. If you can't feel it, your OK. It is just aluminum and the cams are hardened steel so it will conform if it needs to.
Bare aluminumThe most overspray I ever saw on a factory cover was limited to the valley where the gasket sits. Otherwise the underside should be free of anything that might release.
