What about doing 3 piece and welding/screwing the arms on? handles would have to be CNC'ed but arms could be laser cut
That could make it cheaper maybe, each hole would need to be tapped. Pretty sure that means a tooling change on cnc. Is there even going to be enough meat to tap into? Welding might work but warping may be a problem and even cheap TIG guys charge around 60 an hour.
If you could get these down to 100 a set and make money I would be surprised. That is what my gut tell me anyway.
There is a used set of the handles for sale on link right now for 100 if some one wants a set.
