So I posted a introduction post awhile ago, however it got off on the wrong foot. I wasn't used to posting and unclear on the post images, I was used to other style forum formats. Anyways...

This is just progress over the last year, and it'll take about 2 more to finish but what's everybody's thoughts? It'll be a street legal road course car.

Good looking car but still wrong section, try the build diary section. Good luck get it running then I want to see video.

Definitely put some words to those pics of what all your doing and just ask one of the moderators to move this to a build thread.
These mods. Lofty, housegsx, VelocitàPaola, JusMX141, gofer, MrBoxx, turbosax2, snowborder714, GRNDSM, 99gst_racer, 98RedGs

Is that an all aluminum V8? So you don't want that crappy 4cyl you pulled out then. Send it to me. :)

Welcome turtle. I want to know more about your frame and suspension set up. I would love to build a rwd dsm but I would go with the 4.

Thanks Slow, yes it's the aluminum block LS 376. I already sold the old 4g63 however. I'm the 2nd and 4th owner to the car, I sold it pretty much as a stock car when I left for boot camp and then bought it back coincidentally. The guy I sold it too destroyed the motor IMO, he bored it. 040 over and was running it un-tuned. I tried to drive it as it was and it just went into safe mode and bounced off the rev-limited at 3k rpm. I decided to go RWD because I missed my spec Miata, and for purpose of what class I wanted to race in I decided to go with the crate LS. As for the frame and roll cage, I sent it off to a shop just north of Syracuse. It was custom bent and fitted, I'm still waiting on my transmission for the position of the cross brace so i can take the car back. The suspension is a Heidts super-ride II for the rear and a mock up of a Mustang II suspension in the front so it's independent at all 4-corners. I kinda miss the 4g63, I might build a DSM powered mini after this just to have it back
