removed my friend NGK's todayand they were coated in red with some white powder on them ? anyone knows what that means ?

no pulled them out of a daily driven dsm. he did run some of that crummy nos octane booster in a bootle. beleave he added 3 bottles to one fill up once.

That would do it. You might want to check the O2 sensor, it can be affected, too. Usually the stuff burns off after going through a few gallons of straight pump gas.

ill give it a shot tomarrow. anyone think that powersteering fluid can be leaking into the oil and then being combusted in the combustion chamber ? since the power steering system is oil cooled ?

cough Since what? No it isn't. Or, it isn't supposed to be. PS fluid would leave a black residue, if any. And you'd be putting out a cloud thick enough to walk on.

Dude, your loosing it, the power steering system is NOT cooled by engine oil, your mixing this up with the oil cooler system found on the 92-94 cars, the red crap on his plugs are some sort of additive.

that tube thing in front of the radiator is the power steering cooler. it's air cooled

The point is that power steering fluid, which is red oil, will not mix with engine oil. The two oils never even get near each other, so there is no way power steering fluid can get into the engine.
