Would this turbo be a good investment?

I have a friend with a 87 Starion turbo for sale. I can get it for like $40. Has very little shaft play at all. Just wondering if it would be worth my time.

P.S. I posted this in the turbo conversion section and got no response.

if that is the stock turbo, then no, its not worth your time. those are smaller than tha t25 that the gst and gsx run.
