Wire a kill swtich ?

Is there a way for us to wire in a kill switch to our DSM's ? I mean nothign that is too hard to handle. im rather ok with wiring stuff up (use to work on cars at work). Any link or info ? thanks

sure, rewire your fuel pump, and then hide a switch on the relay power supply.

I have my fuel pump rewired with a kill switch just like he said. This is excellent for several reasons...car cannot be started or run with it flipped off, and it is also makes compression checking a 2g a breeze because all you need to do is flip the switch and pull the wires/plugs and you're good to go.

Vfaq.com and several other places have a how-to on the fuel pump rewire.

i noticed that they dont have a rewire for a 2g AWD ?! Is it the same as the FWD one ?

There are a few extra wires on the AWD. Just follow the directions on the vfaq an you will be fine. The other wires are for the sending unit, but you don't need to worry about them for the fuel pump rewire. The wire shielding color is the same as FWD.
