Which comp wheel is this?

When that compressor cover left PTE it was machined for a GT35R compressor wheel which by technical terms is a GT40 model style. It is different than any of the compressor wheels found in the GT40 turbos (which makes it confusing). The 6169 hand scribed onto the discharge of it reaffirms that along with providing you the information that it's a 69 trim version of the p-trim wheel on the turbine side. There is only one compressor wheel for the GT35R and it is as you specified (61mm/82mm 56 trim).

I think it was scribed then changed...

The SC-6169E is a T3 Turbine housing turbo... mine is a PTE SCM housing....this tells me that maybe they were going to mate it up to a T3, then things changed after the casting was done?

If it IS indeed a 6169E...then that would mean it has a T04 68.66 trim (69 LOL) in a mitsu housing? That's a .125 Bigger wheel...I dont know anything about PTE housings, but wil that fit?.....

I was expecting the T350 76 trim wheel.....

Am I going to have to pull the Turbine housing as well to see what I have here haha.... and can I do that as well with out hacvint to replace anything?

Can someone confirm that the Torqur for the Comressor Housing to center-section is indeed 33 ft/lbs?

Thanks for your guys help and time.

Oh and gasguzzler, I know all about the GT40 wheel in the GT35R and how it's not the same as a GT40 Turbo....I'm all good there....but you got any ansers for why my wheel has the backward-curved blade design?
