I bought a really nice condition GST convertible (no rust to speak of) other than a caved in driver side quarter panel from a crash where someone hit the car. Looking online thinking to buy a new quarterpanel, I see plenty of places that CLAIM to have the part, such as www.parts.com. However they all come back saying they can't get it, the part is obsolete.
So does anyone know where I can find a rear driver side quarterpanel for a spyder or do I have to fabricate/find a donor car?
in this picture the tire is just laying there, I removed all of the suspension :)
Thank you my friends

Talk to Miller Import Parts. They're a 'yard with many DSMs. He can probably help you out.
With that said, I believe the quarter panels are spot welded so be prepared for that with a spot welder cutter.

You'll need a donor car to replace that most likely. Why not just get a good shell and just swap the parts from that over to it?

Ironically this shell is amazing compared to most up here in the northeast. When I was taking apart the suspension i had no rusty bolts to deal with. When I pulled the bumper that lower metal brace wasn't rusted at all. I've never seen a G2 that was so nice other than my drag car which was garaged literally its entire life. So I don't mind replacing the quarterpanel since the rest of the car is really nice.
