Make sure you empty out your intercooler. I'm sure plenty of those broken pieces are laying in the driver's side of it.

The pump does not primp when the ignition is first turned on. Idk why that is. got more bugs to sort out. Still no Accelerator cable. Might have to order one. I dont want to wait for it though
May have to just swap in my MegaSquirt and see how she fares with that instead

You and that car make running low 11's seem so easy. 26psi on pump gas, damn you!Well today was a good day for the Talon and had some decent progress. I finally changed the shifter cables to some old/rusty ones and wdyk....they work great. Figures... So anyway went to capitol did 5 passes. Played with timing a bunch and focused on getting the car to have a decent tune on pump gas. Boost is at 26lbs and on straight 93. I really didn't understand how bad the car bogs until I watched it on video and it really is all about the launch and building boost on the line. I really didn't get a good launch, but the few I pulled off were promising.
Best two passes were
11.2 @ 133 1.7 60'
11.3 @ 132 1.8 60'
Still need an alignment, some E85, and more booooosssstttttt......

On 1g's.. the main relay only trips the fuel pump when cranking.
My pump runs for about three seconds when i turn the ignition on without cranking.

Going to Capital tonight for the last T@T for a while.. Last night I went over the car and noticed something pretty Damn funny.. Let me back up a second......... Looking through the logs of last week, I noticed boost would taper off 1-3 pounds on each run. I thought I may have a boost leak and well...I was right!
Found a huge boost leak from the last time I ran at the throttle body. The nipple on the 75mm TB for the vacuum source is plain gone and I've had a 3/8 hole pushing air out before it enters the TB. Plugged it and went for a drive last night to have boost jump to 30-31 from the 26-25 on the last outing..I'm sure it hurt me...
Anyway I'm cranking it up tonight, so wish me luck..

Well didn't get in the 10's, but I drove it home with another 80 mile round trip for the 3rd time...Car is proving pretty reliable, just gotta wear ear plugs. Ha...
Anyway since I fixed the boost leak and the boost increased, I couldn't get out the hole to save my life. Last week I didnt spin one bit on 26lbs, but now it's the opposite. I totally get in now guys!! Erol (Redyute1) was there taking video, but nothing worth showing.
Car is going down for about a month and returning with slicks, an alignment, and maybe a tune...Although my ET's werent any better my trap increased by almost 7 mph to 139.98..

Looking back at the logs, I was only going about 30-40% throttle in first. Then bogging in 2nd while the turbo takes it time spooling. Last week I was 100% throttle in every gear and it was a lot better. Something to remember next time I guess.. Anyway..Im done posting video's and updates until I hit the 10's...
