Wheel Question

I'm looking into buying some wheels and tires but I have a few questions first. I want the wheel to be flush with the outside of the fenders, I hate the way my stock wheels sit inside the fenderwell. I am looking for a 17x7 wheel with a 225/45 tire. What offset would I need to get this look? If anyone has any pics of 2G's they think may help, please post them. Thanks.

From what I've seen, a 225/45 tire will fit best on a 7.5 inch rim. That will make the tire's shoulders square and flat with the wheel. The offset of the wheel is 42. I think that will help you with the look you want to achieve. Hope that helps.
