There are a few few wires that I dont know what they do. The first one is connected but I found that when I disconnect it the car will not idle surge anymore. When I put it back on it will keep idle surging. Is it ok to drive the car with out it connected? What is this for?

This last one is just a red wire that is connected to my battery that goes all the way to the trunk and looks like it connects to my fuel pump. I do not know why that was done. If someone could explain that to me.

Any help will be appreciated. Thank You.

The first wire is to a temp sensor. I believe (haven't had a 1g TB in a long time) that is for the FIAV. Which is why it affects your idle.

The second one next to the MAF is your boost control solenoid wire. If you have a MBC or EBC, then that stays unplugged as the boost control solenoid was most likely removed.

The red wire going to the fuel pump is very likely a fuel pump rewire to keep the voltage stabalized.

So the green wire that is affecting my idle. What would I have to do to fix that?

He doesn't mean affecting in a bad way.
It lets the ecu know when you're pushing on the gas pedal. So when you aren't pushing on the gas, it presses up on the butterfly a little bit.
I'm pretty sure yours is working or your car would be erratic.

It pushes up agains the butterfly when getting signals from the ISC.

It is affecting my idle. When it is on it idle sirges and when it is off it dose not. So right now I have it off. Is it alright to drive that way and how do I fix it?

The idle switch is a necessary part of the computer control system. If it is not working, the ECU will not "know" when to idle the engine. This can lead to some strange behavior.

Straight from the guide.
Just leave it on and buy a new ISC.
Thats where your problem seems to be, and why are you worried about idle surge?
It's not like its hurting your car.

When I have it on it feels like it will die at a stop light but it doesn't. It drops really low but it recovers. How hard is it to replace the ISC?

I know that is part of the problem. It was like that when I bought it. This major idle problem just started recently though.
