What should I look for when buying a used Talon?

Hi, I am just asking what things should I check on the car before purchasing a used Talon Tsi awd? I would assume the turbo would be the main thing but how do you test whether its good? I am planning on buying a 95-98 model within the next month and any of your help would be appreciated.

Crankwalk, Crankwalk, Crankwalk, Crankwalk, Crankwalk then check for Crankwalk again. Then just to make sure check for Crankwalk again. Cant stress that enough... Do a search on Crankwalk for about 9 million topics... some other things to consider are miles, the previous owner, their driving habits. Im sure someone more with more know how can give u a better list,.

Thanks for the responce. I will be sure to read up on crankwalk, althought from what I've read so far its not too easy to spot.

Anyone else have any advice?

after you drive the car, check and see if he lets it sit on...make sure he has had the turbo cooled down properly every time.

Make sure that when u boost white smoke doesnt come out of the back, this could be a blown turbo, or maybe a problem with the head gasket.
