What do you use on your black top?

Hey fellas. This mostly goes to 1g owners that have the original black top and spoilers etc.
I’ve been slowly trying to detail my tsi in this cold with my 4 step process of clay bar, compound, wax then sealer. Any other suggestions would be great aswell
My concern is that I don’t know whether to work on the black painted areas same as the rest of the car which is red or to work on it with different materials. I'm assuming that all the car has clear coat therefore it would be okay to work on them the same but I don’t want to mess up the paint or whatever it is.
I’ll try to post of some pics of what I’m talking about when I get home.

you can use the same stuff you're currently using, just remember black shows more flaws than other colors, take your time and if you're using a buffer use a Dual action and not an orbital, if you hold an orbital wrong or keep it in one spot for too long you can burn the paint.
