I know my run today is nothing special, but i jsut want to see how you guys think i did as a driver with a car in the ruff shape that it is in.

I went to the track today for the first time ever in my car. MY mods are evo16g, apexi turbo back, injen intake, 255lph, 720cc, dsmlink, MBC, greddy upper i/c piping w/ type s, act 2600 clutch and flywheel, 6 bolt. My engine is currently in need of a rebuild really bad. ym compression across the board reading fromleft to right is 160, 120( and falling), 140(and falling), 100. My turbo is have a major boost creep issue and is forcing me to shift at 6500rpms.

So my best time for the day was a 13.7 at 98 mph. this was made on pump gas(93) with some bog in the launch. I have my boost set to 20 but it creeps to 25 by 5000rpms and then to 28psi by 6000rpms. Again i don't think that this is anything special, but i just wanted to see how you guys thought i did for my car being in the condition that it is in.

The motor's obviously in bad shape and I wouldn't have run it. What seems wierd though is the low trap speeds. Those are pretty weak even if you completely blew the launch. I'd get her rebuilt and take it easy until then. Strangely enough, even though the compression's low, people have made some great passes with 120 across the board. Something must be seriously wrong with your tune.

By the way, what were your 60' and other incremental times?

Andy

i would think with your setup and the evo3 at 20+ psithat you would trap over 100mph.
get that motor and creep issues ironed out and try it again :thumb:

why is it such a bad idea? the car is already f*cked, the most harm i could do is break the motor sooner. I know i have to rebuild it but i don't have the money right now to go ahead and just do that. I am going to have to wait until the end of the summer before that can happen.

I think it was a bad idea like others had previously stated. When it finally lets go, Are you going to be one of ''those people'' that go around spreading rumors that dsm's are junk and very unreliable? Just from reading your posts in this thread, It seems like you really don't care about the car, And just go out and kill it every chance you can, That's not good. :toobad: :nono: :notgood:

Actually i love my car and beat the trees out of it because i know i can. that was the first time had ever raced the car. i know the motor is messed up so why should i really care? And no i'm ot one of those people who go around ad spread rumors, i'm actually the opposite. My car has been very reliable until i did the motor swap, and i have no had any problems with it other than this. I treat my car with respect and i know that if i take care of it it will take care of me.

If you ask me i think your one of those internet guys who think they can make judgements about people and think your f*cking cool. Well your not. And sorry i don't take the advice and not race my car but last time i checked i'm here to have fun, not set any records to jsut have fun. when your not having fun whats the point. :notgood:

How are you getting a 16g to creep to 28psi by 6,000 RPMs with a 3 inch exhaust
Are you running stock down pipe and cat? I could understand that in the lower rpms and the higer you rev it should taper off, but not like that.

I am running an APexi n1 turbo back. beats me why it creeps so much but it does.

Why do you need such big injectors on a 16G powered car? Do you have a front mount, or are you still on the stock sidemount? :talon:
