Would or COULD I possibly burn oil with 150 psi of compression across all 4??????? I mean thats pretty damn good for my 120,000+ motor but im just seeing whats the average psi where it would start using oil?

Is the car blowing smoke out the tailpipe? Pull off your intake pipe and see if the turbo is spewing oil up into it really bad.

Got any pics of you car and do you want to sell it:)

Well i know for a fact it isnt the turbo it has like ZERO shaft play which is pretty amazing and yeah it has, sadly, started to blow some smoke which i really hate because im a pretty picky guy and thats probably the worst thing that could happen to a guy like me who DOESNT want his car to be ghetto but anyways well i want to sell it but i dont im not sure at this point i mean i need a car but i also need a car that doenst NEED sooo much attention. Dont get me wron i absolutley love my car it has been my obsession ever since i got it. I think it could be the head u know seals and crap but I am way too busy to let it sit, torn apart, and me without wheels to get around and fixing it.

Well theres no oil in the coolant and vice versa. I just put in a brand new radiator in it and no sludge came out of that and I dont have any coolant in the oil cause i just changed it and nothin in that. I mean it has to go soem where and it definitely not going on the ground I fixed all that crap and havent had any problems with that but its the whole blue smoke thing that bothers me I think my car is nice and thats all i need is a little puff of blue when i take off on the street. I'll do my best to get a pic on here I dont have a digital camera so its pretty tough goin.

When it is smoking? Is it always doing it or when you get on it? Try this: Start the car, open up the hood pull your dipstick up a little see if it puffs smoke there. If no smoke comes out of there then the rings you are in pretty good shape so you might just need to do the valve seals. I just recently blew the rings in mine and thats how i was able to tell. Smoke came out of the dipstick holder and outta my valve cover breather. Hopefully you make out better than me. :dsm:

I doubt the rings are bad if hes getting 150 psi across the board. If you ask me, its most likely just some old crusty valve stem seals that are leaking oil into the cylinders. Its a 20 dollar job.

Hey thanks guys I'll probably get some of those seals but one question where did u get yours?? It's kind of hard to know when to stop on this kind of project u know?? Its like when i pull the head then I might as well re-ring or bore it out since I've got it that far torn down I think what I'll do is freshen up the head and then see how it goes and if the smoke is still present then I'll save up some bucks and set aside a few days and freshen up the whole motor I guess. I am just pressed for a car right now so i need the minimal amount of down time possible.Oh yeah im still workin on getting some pics of my car on here.

I suggest you buy another car, or at least rent one or borrow a car when the DSM is down for repairs. Chances are that when it is down for repairs, it may take a while to fix it. I've had mine down for months at a time (saving up money) and if I didn't have 5 other cars then I'd be screwed as far as getting to work goes. Buy a $900.00 honda beater to get you where u need to be just in case....I'm not trying to say DSMs are unreliable, but if you haven't done these kinds of repairs before, it may take you a few days.

Just because the turbo doesn't have any shaft play doesn't mean its not pushing oil. The seals in the cartridge could be gone causing the smoke. When does it smoke the most? Smoke on decel off boost?
