wg lower port routing on EBC ?

hey guys, I'm about to connect Greddy profec B (old style) to external wastegate and according to the attached picture, have one question.
it shows that wg lower port should be connected to the intake manifold, along with solenoid (in) port. and the solenoid second (out) port - to the top of the wg

my questin is: can I connect that wg lower port to the turbo nipple ? or it should be connected strictly to the intake manifold and see vacuum in some circumstances ?

I have never had good results with the signal line connected to the turbo with a MBC or EBC (never had a Greddy though) There are quite a few factors that cause a pressure drop between the turbo and IM. I prefer to have the signal source closest to the actual boost that the motor sees, which is in the IM.

I actually have the same question as the OP. I'm converting from IWG to EWG right now and have the same Greddy Profec B EBC. So I know that the center barb fitting on the EWG needs a boost/vacuum source and that the top barb fitting on the EWG is from the EBC solenoid. So then, we need a boost/vaccum source for the in on the solenoid and also the center barb on the EWG. Which sources are best?
