Weird symptom

I get pulled over for speeding and while I'm waiting for cop to write my ticket which took a good amount of time I noticed my oil light comes on(my car is idling on side of highway) I get really scared and check my oil level, that was good. The oil pressure on guage was also good. I am so confused

Were you parked at an angle??

Its a possibility that the oil sensor wire got nudged somehow. Check the two connections. Mine did something similar one time and thats what it was

I wasn't parked at an angle.
But I'm going to check the sensors

I checked the connection and it was pretty dirty. I cleaned it up now I'm going to wait to see if that fixes it.

also check to make sure the wires on the sensor are not exposed or frayed anywhere..
