Hey

I just got done doing a couple of mods to my car and one of them I was going to do but decided against was some indiglo gauges. They were actually vinyls that go over the stock gauges :notgood: . I removed the gauges and pretty much had the entire cluster torn apart. I put it back together and now one problem remains.

Anyways the problem is that my gas light comes on and then off whenever it feels necessary and I have over a quarter tank of gas. It's really annoying to look at so often. Anyone have some ideas as to why it would be doing this?

I installed my fuel pump months ago. This almost FOR SURE is directly related to the gauge cluster. I also said the light come on but will go off at times so that would mean it's not the fuel arm.

I'm going to pull the cluster in a second and see if I notice anything strange but I doubt I will. Any other ideas?

I feel like a dumbass. When I put the gauges back together I put the needle for the fuel gauge above where it should go. So when it looked like i had about 1/8 tank it was really empty. I had thought about that but everytime I moved the needle it would go back to that spot so like a dumbass I assumed that's how much gas I had. :toobad: :tease: :p
