waste gate problems

after every time I drive the car hard the car wants to idle funny the boost gadge is reading 10 on the vacume when it normally reads 20 and sounds like it wants to kill. I was thinking it might be the waste gate because it built boost on its own in second with out me getting on it. I have a ported evo 16g

Most of my problems are alway boost leaks. Have you done a boost leak test?

If your gauge is reading less vacc than is supposed, this is because you got a vaccum leak somewhere. check all your vaccum hoses to be sure that nothing is lose

It only does it sometimes
