Question: when you run rich, do you tend to backfire while accelerating or shifting? My damn datalogger died, i replaced the batteries and my information was gone. I dont have a logger right now cause my software is like 4 hours away :thumbdown id put my stock maf back on but i dont exactly have that either. Before my logger died tho i was picking up 8-9 counts of knock starting at 5100rpm then it shot up to 11 at 6-redline. I adjusted my settings then my batteries went dead. I have maf-t 2.02 and im in fine tuning mode right now w/ 3k leaned out 1 notch, 4k rpm richened 2%, 5500 richened 4% and 6000-redline knob 6%. My redline knob was richened up by 4% from before and my 5500 by 4 from before. Anyone think i could still be running rich? Another thing is i now think my part throttle is runnin a bit lean now because i was cruisin for about 30 minutes at part throttle and when i dropped it in 4th gear my boost gauge shot to 16 like its supposed to but i didnt really accelerate. I stopped my car and my turdblow was glowin like i was beatin on my car for hours. I let it cool down a bit and it ran fine ( not a boost leak). Would excessive heat from a part throttle lean condition effect your acceleration later in the rpm range? Any help would be appreciated.
yet again, i did NOT know that...how and why is that??
