This happened before and no-one responded to my post, but I'll try again. Okay, driving about 70 on the highway for 25-30minutes when the car starts shaking and escalates quickly into a jarring shake, almost like the wheels went from round to square all of a sudden. Now it happened about a month ago and I thought it was the brakes. Got all new calipers on both rear. I don't ever drive on the highway so I thought it was fixed. I immediately pulled over and when I put it in neutral it felt like it was still engaged for a second. I let it cool and drove it home at 45-50mph, no problem. All fluids are good, recently changed rear dif. fluid (first time it happened). I don't understand what it could be. Please HELP!

/\/\/\/\/\ when you buy a real DSM then you can be a smart ass j/kOMG

As far as your problem goes it could be a couple things check your plugs for oil on the washer or water that would be grounding out the plug I dont that is your problem but it's worth a look. I hate to say this but it sounds like a transmission problem I'm not a huge expert on A/T so I cant be much help but you said it would countinue to stay engaged in first after you stopped so I'd get that checked out I would put a small amount of money on it that that is it. I wish you luck and hop things work out for you man.

Thanks man. I was a little unclear about "putting it in neutral" It's a 5-speed. I just said "neutral" cause I meant that not only did I press the clutch in, but I put the shifter to the neutral position, which is even weirder that it stayed engaged. I don't think there's any motor problems, like I said I drive in town daily, no problems. It's just continuos highway cruising that makes it happen.

mine did the same thing
I changed brakes balanced tires bought new tires.
never did find out what it was. still not sure but it went away.

first time i stop and checked lug nuts thought i was going crazy

mine was coming from the back... i think

even put two spairs on and it still shook.

if it was a trany problem i dont know why it felt like it was coming form the back.

just another one of my unsolved dsm problems
