Using NT Head on Turbo?

I have a NT head in good condition, and want to know if I can use it on my 4g63t. I know the castings are the same, but are the exhaust valves different? Thanks in advance.

i would like to know the same thing actually. I would also like to know if a none turbo block can be rebuilt for a turbo. I know it CAN be used, but what are differences between the n/t blocks and the turbo blocks? the reason I ask is because i have a 4G63 n/t(6 bolt) out of a 91 eclipse and I want to know if i could build it up to put in my 91 turbo FWD talon(6 bolt).

i have a rebuilt non turbo block in my car. works fine. Non turbo blocks have no oil squirters or a place to put the knock sensor, but under the intake manifold under the 3rd cylinder there are threads that you can use and fits perfect.

My last motor had an oil squirter break and knock out a balance shaft and screwed things up pretty bad.

no only the cams are diff i have a 91 nt

its the same you can use it with no problems at all. i did it in my 91 tsi and works great
