Timing Belt Cover installation help...

Kinda of a noob question... mainly because I can't seem to get it in with out breaking it... done it twice. I am trying to install the middle timing belt cover on my 2g. I have taken off the side motor mount and the top timing belt, but cannot get the center screw to fit between the cam gears and thereby not able to fit it into place. What am I missing?

Thanks for all the replies... but nevermind... it snapped in half and broke. This is the 3rd one now. Apparantly, I cannot figure out any possible way for it to fit through that little clearance it has and no one anywhere has any descriptive help other than "put on timing belt cover" and it "should" fit. GRRRR...
