things to do before starting car with new turbo

I am getting back my compressor housing and turbine housing from porting for my 14b and will finally be installing it with other supporting mods. My question is...Before i start the car do i have to do anything special to get oil and coolant circulating through the turbo or can i just start it and enjoy? Thanks ahead of time for the awnser.

You should prime the turbo, which is the same action as running a compression test basically. Look in your engine bay fuse box and remove the 20A fuse "Engine". Then look behind the upper timing cover and in front of the brake master cylinder to find a plug you take out to cut ignition. Then, proceed to crank your car for two to three cycles of 5-10 second cranks. This does what you said and circulates the oil and coolant through the turbo.

Removing the two triangular coil plugs works as well.

I took it a step further, i unplugged the fuse, coil and fuel pump (### the back seat and plate where already out due to my 255 upgrade). Prob dont need to do the fuel pump but i didnt want that pressure there, even though i have an AFPR. Geuss it was overkill, but it worked Cranked a couple times for 5-10 secs.
