ok that is good. Luckily it wasn't tomorrow. I just ran into a fuel pump install snag since the nut doesn't want to unscrew and the freaking fuel pump and the ring dont want to go back on.
 
Ok so the 21st...

anyone have a suggestion for location? maybe a good park with a pit? if not we can have it at a restaurant and ill call and ask for permission?

Ill talk with Jorge @ JMS and see if he can gather his EVO buddies and make this a 4g63 meet ;)

Are we still looking to do this in San Marcos?
 
The Rio Vista Park by the chutes is good...it has a couple pits and plenty of space for activities and also one big plus......THE RIVER! :D Its right off 35, kinda behind the baseball field right in front of the River Pub & Grill, if the parking is packed, just a little down the road offers more of a "strip" parking, and even still just a little down is the Playscape, but the parking might be small depending on how many people show up. I would love to go, i work 7 days a week, so i may or may not be able to go. Its good that it will be in San Marcos so I should be able to make it. :pray:
 
ok, im not good with directions but here goes.......if your coming from up north (Ausitn) exit 205 and turn right on S CM ALLEN PKWY (its right after the Baseball field) and pass the stop sign and take your 1st right, BEFORE the train tracks. and if your coming from the south or off hwy 123 go down to IH-35...its right after the BK we usually meet up at...take the feeter road north and take the turn-around to your left, then go down S CM ALLEN PKWY and the rest is the same.... If that place is crowded the Playscape is right after the tracks and you can see that from Rio Vista Park.....Prices & Map | Tube San Marcos Texas | Lions Club Tube Rental |Toob Rental for San Marcos Toobers this is a link to a map if it wasnt clear, im sure most of you know how to zoom in to see the roads....or one day we could all go tubbing from the Lions Club for a meet, its a blast. Hope to be able to attend this one.
 
An idea was brought up yesterday to have this on the 28th for "Midnight Madness" at San Antonio Raceway...

We can all meet up at some restaraunt and eat/chat/whatever before hand then head out to the track...

Sound like a good idea?

Gates to the track open at 8pm and racing starts at 9pm.. so i figure we can meet up at 7pm at a restaurant along the way..
 
Lets get all together @ Biffs on Topperwein and 35.......Great location to get something to eat and easy to get to the track,plus plenty parking..........:thumb::thumb:
 
It would need to be at 6,cause the track opens @ 8 and it takes about 20 min. to get to the track........:thumb:
 
Anyone want a cheap 1g awd? 1990 eagle talon

I offered the guy $400 for it and he responded quickly with his phone #. I was gonna go pick it up but decided I don't have the time, space, or funds to fix this one. He says it's AWD 5-spd even though it doesn't say in ad. No title, giant wing, what more could you want? Oh yeah I'm pretty sure it's a Laser too instead of a talon. Someone go steal this off him. (title shouldn't be hard to get)

Thats IF theres enough people.. i havent put alot of time into this meet because of the fact that it doesnt seem like alot of people will show

So if theres enough interest we can go through as planned and meet at Biffs at 6pm then head out to the track for Midnight Madness
 
why not just have it and than see the way it comes out it like like some people are going it will be good it has to be better than all the other ones i hope its been i long time come it been like 3mouth with out on lets make i list im in and i think and to of my friends who els:hellyeah:

I noticed he also listed it as a laser a day or too before that ad. The back end does look more like a laser. I was always under the assumption that 90 lasers were never available with an AWD platform, so either it is a talon or eclipse or it is FWD, but either way it is still turbo :thumb:
