T3/T04e Flange Q

my buddys turboing his 420A and bought that turbo in the tittle. Im wondering if this Ebay flange is the correct one for when we make his down pipe. Now were going external wastegate so i know the block off plate is good but in the discritpion it says NOT COMPATABLE WITH T4 FOOTPRINT. so im asking wiht it work on his t3/to4e turbo ?

I just dont want to have him spend 20 bucks on nothing thanks guys.

that is the correct flange to use but tell your friend to invest in a good turbo and not one that has been known to split in half at the compressor. Those are not Garrett turbochargers and there are quite a few pictures on this board alone of those turbos with compressor covers blown in half.

The other choice if he wants to go T3/T4 is to go with a 4 bolt housing which flow better in my opinion and is easier to make a down pipe for.

That is a Garrett ripoff BTW, it is not genuine. This isn't the XS power ones with the cast comp housings, these are a fully benchmarked china version with inferior parts.

that isnt my actual turbo. mine does have the garrett imprint. i was just using the picture to show the 5 bolt side where i need to put my downpipe flange because my turbo is a t3/t4oe. sorry for the confusion. i would never buy a turbo off ebay LoL :thumbdown
