I have a 90 tsi awd with a really strong motor that buschurs just got done fixing.....Anyways after the guy told me one price and it was actually another, I wasnt happy. He went over my entire car and told me to basically buy a new one. Apparently my cv shafts are shot, all suspension bushings are shot, I have 2 bent rims, 2 tires down to the belts (opps!), my diagnostic port is melted, hatch struts are shot, one of the blinker wires is melted completely, and he said the @$$ end of the car has been hit.
So I figured it would just be easier to buy this 93 gsx. Now, what I wanted to know was will the will my 91 ecu with a chip swap into the 93? And Would I have any promlems just droppig my engine into it? I know a few things are going to be a pain like moving all my gauges over and rewiring them, putting my battery into its new trunk, and other misc things like that.
Do you guys think its a good idea I still owe buschur $1300 so I can get my car back. The 93 gsx is $900 it has a few engine problems but I could care less. On my car I know I need new tires, the gsx has newer tires and the body is excellent so is the interior.
