Had to replace one cable as it snapped in half and wouldn't allow the sunroof to retract fully. So I decided to replace the other side while I had the headliner and all that crap off.
Low and behold, I go and snap that little plastic piece that holds the end of the cable.

So 2 questions.
1. Do you think I can just use super glue to mend the 2 plastic pieces back together? I don't think it'll hold as the load bearing will always be on that little clip that broke off (bottom right of pic), so it'll eventually separate itself or should I just glue everything to itself OR should I just buy a new track?
2. What kind of grease is suggested for the new cable? This document ( http://web.archive.org/web/20060514...ix.com/users/manualcd/gift/dsm/2g_sunroof.pdf ) indicates the cable should be greased, but no indication as to what or how much.
Thanks.
