alright well i have a 99 gs special edition i want to do suspension work. we are coming into the winter months were i live and dont want to do shocks and springs yet. so i plan on doing a front, and rear strut tower bar, along with a megan rear lower tie bar. now as far as the strut tower bars go what is the diffrence/ disadvantages and advantages to adjustable or stiff. basically i mean im debating on buyuing dc front anfd rear bars or megan. the megan ones are cheaper and i belive adjustable. the dc ones are solid bars and more expensive. i have had a few buddys of mine tell me it doesnt matter between stiff or adjustable and that the cheaper ones will do the same job. i dont wanna spend the money now and have them bend or do nothing and have to invest in the dc ones later on anyway. what do you guys say Adjustable or not adjustable, basically megan strut tower bars or dc. i also plan on doing shocks and springs come the end of winter if that is useful information.

Sounds like your buddies have read some of the myriad threads on this topic.

You have a DSM, so the "dont wanna spend the money" is a given. Not many things bend when you pull on the ends, so cheap is fine. What you want to avoid is something that's already bent, since bent things do have a tendency to straighten out when you pull on the ends.

That's what I was thinking.I want a little help during the winter before I do shocks and springs I'm more than liking just going to order Megan stuff
